Whether you’re looking for a way to keep up with a long prayer list, get your kids more engaged with family worship, or just strengthen you or your family’s prayer life… We’ve got something that we think will help. We call it “The Prayer Card Method”, and it’s been a huge blessing to our family. Did we mention it’s free?
The Prayer Card Method starts with colored paper cards (make your own or buy these!).
Assign each color of cards to a different category (i.e. immediate family, extended family, friends, special requests, praises, etc.)
Write the names (and other things) you want to pray for on the cards. We often group people in families (i.e. a single card for an uncle, aunt, and cousins).
Choose one card of each color to pray for each day.
After you’ve prayed for a card, set it aside. It helps to have some way of keeping the “pray for” and “prayed for” cards separate (we’ve got something else coming soon that will help with this!).
When one color of cards runs out, gather them out of the “prayed for” cards and put them back with the “pray for” cards.
Be creative! Customize the method to suit your needs.
Our Prayer Cards come in packs of 120 cards, 20 each of 6 different colors (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and violet). The cards are 2.75” x 1.7” and come wrapped in a sleeve with instructions for The Prayer Card Method inside.
