How much does it cost?
First off, I wish I could do this for free. I love sharing the gospel through music, and if I could afford to, I wouldn’t ask for anything. But I have a wife and four beautiful kids to support, and—like most pastors—I “earn [my] living from the gospel” (1 Corinthians 9:14).
That said, my main goal is simply to share this music and message. If you're interested in hosting a concert but aren’t sure you can meet all the needs below, please feel free to reach out. I’m happy to talk and explore ways to make it work.
My standard concert honorarium is $400, plus travel expenses as needed. These may include mileage, airfare, rental car, and lodging, depending on your location. When I’m able to schedule multiple concerts in the same area, travel costs can often be shared between hosts.
I also kindly ask that the venue provide a table in a high-traffic area for CDs and merchandise, and that a free-will offering be collected during the concert to help support my ministry.
What is the concert like?
My concerts blend story, testimony, and song. I play acoustic guitar, with a little harmonica and whistling here and there. A typical program runs about 90 minutes, but I’m happy to adjust the length as needed.
The concerts are heartfelt, personal, and focused on Jesus. I share about my life, my family, and what God has been teaching me, with songs woven throughout. I’ve found that this approach resonates with people across generations and backgrounds—inviting listeners to reflect, meditate on Scripture, and experience God’s grace in a fresh way. This makes my concerts a great opportunity for outreach, something people feel good about inviting friends and family to, whether they’re part of a church or not.
